Abstract

Wartość firmy i jej przewaga konkurencyjna na rynku jest obecnie kształtowana przez wiele czynników, przy czym coraz większego znaczenia nabierają czynniki bazujące na kapitale intelektualnym. Mimo, iż pojęcie kapitału intelektualnego jest coraz bardziej znane i cenione, tylko w nielicznych firmach znajduje to przełożenie na działania wpływające na efektywne zarządzanie tym niematerialnym zasobem. Do skutecznego zarządzania tym kapitałem konieczny jest jego pomiar. Proces pomiaru jest trudny ze względu na niematerialny charakter aktywów tworzących kapitał intelektualny. Dlatego do oszacowanie wartości tego kapitału konieczne jest indywidualne podejście opierające się o zbilansowany zbiór metod i wskaźników dopasowanych do specyfiki danej organizacji. W niniejszej pracy przedstawiono przykładową wycenę kapitału intelektualnego dla spółki CCC S.A. z wykorzystaniem metody VAICTM. Omówiono wyniki badań empirycznych oraz specyfikę i ograniczenia procesu zarządzania kapitałem intelektualnym. Praca ma za zadanie dowieść słuszności stwierdzenia, iż kapitał intelektualny jest niematerialnym aktywem odpowiedzialnym za generowanie wartości przedsiębiorstwa, którego pomiar i analiza stają się konieczne w procesie budowania konkurencyjności firmy.

The value of the company and its competitive advantage in the market nowadays is currently shaped by many factors, and among them the factors based on intellectual capital are becoming more important. Despite the fact that the concept of intellectual capital is increasingly recognized and appreciated, only in some companies it is reflected in activities that affect the effective management of this immaterial resource. To manage this capital it is necessary to measure it. The measurement process is difficult due to the intangible nature of assets that create intellectual capital. Therefore, to estimate the value of this capital, an individual approach is necessary based on a balanced set of methods and indicators suited to the specificity of the organization. This paper presents an example of valuation of intellectual capital for the CCC S.A. company using the VAICTM method. The thesis discusses the results of empirical research as well as the specificity and limitations of the process of intellectual capital management. The task is to prove the correctness of the statement that intellectual capital is an intangible asset responsible for generating the value of an enterprise and that its measurement and analysis become necessary in the process of building the company's competitiveness.
