Identyfikacja zjawiska stresu zawodowego w branży IT w świetle badań własnych

Abstract

Praca zajmuje się zjawiskiem stresu i wypalenia zawodowego w branży IT. Celem jest doprecyzowanie tego jakie czynniki wywołują stres i wypalenie zawodowe u programistów. Pomimo ogromnej ilości publikacji zajmujących się tematyką stresu i wypalenia zawodowego zauważalny jest brak badań, które dotyczyłyby konkretnej grupy specjalistów branży IT – programistów. Na potrzeby pracy zrealizowano badanie ankietowe. Jego głównym celem było wskazanie najważniejszych czynników stresogennych i powodów wypalenia zawodowego u programistów. Ankieta została rozpowszechniona w sieci internetowej głównie za pomocą portali społecznościowych, oraz dzięki uprzejmości grupy znajomych osób, które także pracują w branży IT. Internet wydaje się zresztą najlepszym miejscem na dotarcie do pracowników IT. Zrealizowane na potrzeby pracy badanie pomogło wskazać główne czynniki stresogenne, powody wypalenia. Jedna z hipotez zakładała, że wraz ze zwiększającym stażem pracy rośnie również ryzyko wypalenia zawodowego, co potwierdzone zostało wynikami z przeprowadzonego badania ankietowego. Przeprowadzone badanie pozwoliło odpowiedzieć na wszystkie pytania badawcze i potwierdzić stawiane przez autora pracy hipotezy. Rezultaty badania mogą być traktowane jako punkt do dalszych, bardziej rozbudowanych badań na ten temat w przyszłości.

The thesis is dealing with the phenomenon of occupational stress and job burnout in IT industry. The aim is to clarify what factors trigger stress and burnout in programmers. Despite the huge number of publications dealing with the subject of stress and burnout, there is a noticeable lack of research that would concern a specific group of IT specialists - programmers. A questionnaire survey was carried out for the purposes of the study. Its main goal was to identify the most important stressors and reasons for burnout in programmers. The survey was spread on the Internet mainly through social networks, and thanks to the kindness of a group of friends of people who also work in the IT industry. The Internet seems to be the best place to reach IT employees. The study carried out for the purposes of the study helped to identify the main stressors, the reasons for burnout. One of the hypotheses assumed that the risk of occupational burnout also increased with increasing work experience, which was confirmed by the results of the survey. The conducted research allowed to answer all research questions and confirm the hypotheses posed by the author of the work. The results of the study can be treated as a point for further, more extensive research on this topic in the future.
