Uwarunkowania zawierania i niezawierania małżeństwa

Abstract

Praca przedstawia problematykę uwarunkowań zawierania i niezawierania związków małżeńskich w Polsce na tle przemian rodziny i małżeństwa. Podjęto próbę określenia powodów zawierania małżeństwa (miłość, nacisk rodziców, chęć stabilizacji, poglądy religijne, ciąża, chęć założenia rodziny, wzory wyniesione z domu, chęć posiadania dzieci), odkładania małżeństwa w czasie (brak środków finansowych, brak czasu, moda na wolne związki wśród młodzieży, strach przed utratą pracy, brak mieszkania, brak pracy w miejscu zamieszkania, rozwód w pierwszym małżeństwie) oraz niezawierania małżeństwa (potrzeba samorealizacji, chęć dalszego kształcenia się, negatywna ocena związku rodziców, tolerancja wolnych związków w mediach, medialna promocja bycia singlem, brak odpowiedniego partnera, pomoc państwa dla samotnych matek). Badanie przeprowadzono w Krakowie na próbie 50 losowo wybranych osób, które poproszono o wypełnienie ankiety. Badanie pokazało że głównymi powodami zawierania małżeństwa są: miłość, chęć założenia rodziny, ciąża, chęć stabilizacji i chęć posiadania dzieci. Najważniejszymi przyczynami przemawiającymi za niezawieraniem małżeństwa były: brak odpowiedniego partnera, potrzeba samorealizacji i chęć dalszego kształcenia. Najważniejszymi czynnikami wpływającymi na odkładanie małżeństwa w czasie były: brak mieszkania, brak środków finansowych i brak pracy. Badania pokazały, że więcej jest przyczyn zawierania niż niezawierania małżeństwa. To pośrednio może świadczyć, że małżeństwo jest nadal wartością wysoko cenioną w społeczeństwie polskim.

The issue of this study are conditions of entering into and not entering into marriages in Poland against the background of the family and marriage transformations. Attempt was made to determine the reasons for entering into marriage (love, parental pressure, the desire to stabilize, religious beliefs, pregnancy, desire to start a family, patterns drawn from the home, the desire to have children), for postponing the decision of marriage (lack of funds, lack of time, fashion for cohabitation among the youth, the fear of losing their jobs, lack of housing, lack of jobs in the domicile, divorce in the first marriage) and for not entering into marriage (need for self-realization, the desire to continue their education, negative assessment of the parents' relationship, the tolerance of cohabitation in the media, media promotion of being single, the lack of a suitable partner, state aid for single mothers). The study was conducted in Krakow where randomly selected sample of 50 people were asked to complete a survey. The study showed that the main reasons for marriage is love, the desire to start a family, pregnancy, desire stability and the desire to have children. The main reasons for not to marry were: lack of a suitable partner, the need for self-realization and the desire for further education. The most important factors that affect the postponing the decision of marriage were: lack of housing, lack of funds and lack of jobs. Research has shown that there are more reasons for entering into marriage than for not entering into marriage. This may indirectly indicate that the value of marriage is still highly valued in Polish society.
