dc.description.abstract	In the article, the author provides a tentative verification of a hypothesis of a considerable influence of the relational approach demonstrated by a service-provider on a customer’s relational potential. The author offers the conceptualization of key constructs, uses the methodology of path analysis in the form of structural equation modeling (SEM, supported by Amos 17.0 used at the data analysis stage) to confirm his hypothesis, and suggests a possible causal link between the key constructs.	pl
