Analiza i ocena wpływu wybranych aspektów turystyki na rozwój Krakowa w latach 2005-2010

Abstract

Przedmiotem badań autorki w niniejszej pracy jest wpływ wybranych aspektów turystyki na rozwój Krakowa w latach 2005-2010. Okres ten w sposób wyraźny ukazywał zmiany zachodzące w turystyce miasta. Autorka koncentruje się na roli, jaką turystyka odgrywała w życiu Krakowa i jego mieszkańców, a także na wpływie turystyki na szeroko rozumiany rozwój miasta. Podstawą do rozważań są materiały uzyskane z Urzędu Miasta Krakowa, Urzędu Statystycznego oraz źródeł Internetowych. Źródła te są obiektywne i stanowią istotny element informacji dopełniający obraz turystyki Krakowa na początku XXI wieku. Autorka, analizując wpływ turystyki na różne dziedziny życia, umocniła się w przekonaniu, że stanowi ona niezbędny składnik życia krakowskiej społeczności oraz jest motorem napędowym dla rozwoju Krakowa.

The thesis deals with the impact of the chosen aspects of tourism on the development of Cracow between 2005 and 2010. This period provides a distinct picture of changes which occurred in the city’ s tourism. The author concentrates on the role played by tourism in the life of Cracow and its inhabitants as well as the impact of tourism on the widely understood development of the city. Materials constituting the basis for consideration have been obtained from the Municipal Council, the Census Bureau and the Internet. The sources are objective and provide an intrinsic element of information completing the image of Cracow’s tourism at the beginning of the 21st century. Analyzing the influence of tourism on different fields of life, the author has confirmed her conviction that tourism is an indispensable constituent of the city’s social life and a driving force for the development of Cracow.
