W niniejszej pracy poddano analizie proces szkolenia pracowników działu kas
przedsiębiorstwa Makro Cash and Carry Polska S.A. w Krakowie. Oceniono wyniki
osiągnięte przez zespół 80 kasjerów pracujących w hali nr 6 w latach 2009 i 2010. Zebrano
dane dotyczące wyników pracy pracowników działu w obszarach: poprawne kasowanie
artykułów, rozpoznawanie autentyczności budzących wątpliwość znaków pieniężnych,
standardy przyjaznej obsługi klienta oraz standardy zmniejszające ubytki podczas kasowania.
Dane te były okresowo analizowane i stanowiły podstawę do podejmowania decyzji
planu. Szkolenia poddane ocenie uwzględniały ograniczenia czasowe i finansowe firmy.
Po przeprowadzeniu szkoleń odnotowano znaczącą poprawę jakości i efektywności
pracy kasjerów. W przypadku rozpoznawania autentyczności znaków pieniężnych
odnotowano wzrost rozpoznanych przez kasjerów fałszywych znaków pieniężnych z 50% do

The author collected data on the workers' performance in the following aspects: correct
adding up, identifying authenticity of questionable currency, standards of customer-friendly
service and standards applied for the purpose of reducing losses during the adding up. These
data were periodically analyzed and constituted a basis for taking decisions on referring some
workers to additional trainings.
The purpose of this thesis was to find out whether trainings in the check-out division
were bringing positive results, if proceeded by a reliable analysis of the training needs and
implementation of an adequate plan. The trainings subject to assessment took into account the
time and financial limitations of the company.
After the trainings, a significant improvement in the quality and efficiency of the
cashiers' performance could be observed. In case of checking authenticity of the currency, one
could notice an increase in the number of forged currencies identified by the cashiers from
50% to67 %. Moreover, mistakes made in the process of adding up decreased by 38%.
