dc.description.abstract | The aim of this paper is to analyse the Lessons Learned systems applied by military organisations as the tools of organisational learning and managing organisational knowledge. Firstly, the concept of learning from experience has been discussed from the perspective of military organisations. Then, applying the NATO model, the elements of Lessons Learned capabilities have been enumerated and studied. The case study combines observations, lessons and best practices identified in NATO, the U.S. Army and the Polish Armed Forces. The contents of the paper are based on the outcomes of the critical analysis of military documents, the literature survey, the observation method and the unstructured interviews with experts. | pl |
