Abstract:
Internationalization of enterprises cannot be perceived only through the
prism of firms activity on the international markets. Consequently, whole enterprise
undergoes internationalization along with its assets, employees, clients,
suppliers as well as destination markets. In order to measure the degree
of internal internationalization of the enterprise, “Aggregate index of firm internationalization”
should be used. Aggregate index of firm internationalization
allows to measure the degree of internationalization taking into account
all factors in the structure of enterprise.
By using aggregate index of firm internationalization, analysis of degree
of internationalization in the forwarding enterprise in the years of 2005, 2006
and 2007, was carried out. This inquiry allowed to observe that the degree
of internationalization in the structure of this firm can be measured as a high
in the first of the above mentioned periods and middle in the last two ones,
despite enterprise almost 100% activity on the international markets.
