Abstract:
Outsourcing is defined as the act of transfering work form internal company
to another external specialist entity. Consequences of pathological effects
of outsourcing can be seen on organizational, operational and economical
level. The common traps might be minimal knowledge of outsourcing methodologies
or failure in recognizing outsourcing business risk, but used correctly
outsourcing can deliver cost reductions, ability to focus on core competences
or improved quality.
