niekoniecznie w pełni zaspokaja potrzeby i oczekiwania odbiorców.
zaoferowania dany obiekt.
i standard zakwaterowania.
The object of this study was to diagnose the factors influencing the purchasing
behavior of consumers of hotel services. The aim of the survey was to gain knowledge about
consumers, their degree of satisfaction with services provided by the hotel system and their
opinions about the system, through which services are delivered to customers. Study subjects
were adult, individual consumers, who are clients for hotels "Beskid" and "Panorama" in
Nowy Sącz. The method was the interview questionnaire, and questions were related to
subjective opinions about the choice of hotel, length of residence, the assessment of the
services offered by the hotel and availability of products.
We conclude that the quality of hotel services may not fully satisfy the needs and
expectations of customers. Most respondents considered that the number of stars does not
guarantee good quality. This may be due to the still insufficient understanding of the
importance and relevance for categorization by the purchasers of hotel services. As the
greatest factor affecting the quality, the respondents agreed that it is a way of guest service
provided by hotel staff. We are seeing that consumers do not pay attention to the additional
services they are offered. With the growing interest in tourism, visitors will seek more activity
outside the hotel. It is also interesting the fact that customers expect more benefits and higher
quality than would be expected from an increase in the price of service. The most important
elements that have an impact on decisions regarding the selection of the hotel are the location
of the hotel, convenient travel, appearance and standard of accommodation. Advertising has
had the least impact on the recipient, which may be related to the fact that in modern times the
advertising message is not always reliable, so consumers do not attach much importance to it.
