Celem niniejszej pracy było przedstawienie zasadniczych zagadnień i problemów związanych z ograniczeniem emisji SO3 z odgazów instalacji magazynowania oleum.
W kolejnych rozdziałach omówiono temat zanieczyszczeń powietrza i metody oczyszczania gazów, omówiono proces absorpcji a także zjawisko oddychania zbiorników.
W części praktycznej opisano właściwości substancji związanych z magazynowaniem oleum, oraz praktyczny sposób magazynowania oleum w Grupie Azoty S.A. w Tarnowie. Przedstawiono metodykę obliczeń absorbera SO3 oraz wyliczono wartość emisji SO3 z magazynowania oleum, potrzebną ilości kwasu siarkowego 98% do zaabsorbowania emisji SO3 dla 90% skuteczności absorbera, a także dokonano obliczenia wymaganej wysokości wypełnienia skrubera potrzebnej do zaabsorbowania tej emisji oraz obliczenia hydrauliki kolumny wypełnionej pierścieniami Raschiga. Wyniki obliczeń wykazały zapas projektowy dla istniejącego skrubera SO3.
The aim of this study was to present key issues and problems related to the limitation of emissions of SO3 as off-gases from the oleum storage system.
The following sections discuss the subject of gaseous air pollution and the methods of treatment, the process of absorption and the phenomenon of tank breathing.
In the practical part the properties of substances associated with oleum storage are described, and the practical way of oleum storage in Grupa Azoty S.A. in Tarnow. Moreover, in the same section the methodology of SO3 absorber was shown and were calculated: SO3 emission values from oleum storage tanks, the required amount of 98% sulfuric acid to absorb this amount of SO3 with the efficiency of 90%, as well as the required height and column overall hydraulics of bed filled with Raschig rings and necessary to absorb the emissions. The calculation results revealed that there existing scrubber has got a sufficient design reserve for work.
