Abstract

Praca przedstawia zagadnienia związane z bankowością elektroniczną oraz internetową, szczególny nacisk położono na scharakteryzowanie bankowości mobilnej, jako nowoczesnej formy kontaktu z bankiem. Badania przeprowadzone za pomocą ankiety internetowej, mającej na celu zbadanie opinii respondentów na temat bankowości mobilnej, pozwoliły na przeprowadzenie analizy oraz potwierdzenie hipotezy, dotyczącej przyszłości i dalszego rozwoju bankowości mobilnej. Starano się w niej wziąć pod uwagę obecne trendy w rozwoju urządzeń mobilnych i coraz powszechniejszy dostęp do mobilnego Internetu, żeby potwierdzić, iż nowoczesne formy kontaktu z bankiem mają szanse stać się głównym filarem bankowości elektronicznej, wypierając tradycyjną formę transakcji bezgotówkowej. The paper presents the issues connected with electronic banking and the Internet, a particular emphasis was placed on the characterization of mobile banking as a modern form of contact with the bank. Research carried out by means of an online survey designed to examine the respondents opinion on mobile banking, helped to analyze and confirm the hypothesis about the future and further development of mobile banking. Efforts were made to take into account the current trends in the development of mobile devices and increasingly widespread access to mobile internet in order to confirm that the modern form of contact with the bank are likely to become a major pillar of the banking displacing the traditional form of non-cash transaction.
