Odporność na stres a zdolność podejmowania decyzji

Abstract

Praca dotyczy wpływu stresu na zdolność podejmowania decyzji. Składa się z dwóch części. W części pierwszej zaprezentowane zostały teoretyczne zagadnienia związane z problematyką funkcjonowania człowieka w sytuacjach zawodowych i psychologiczne aspekty pracy. Omówiono również zjawisko stresu, konsekwencje i sposoby radzenia sobie z nim oraz proces podejmowania decyzji. Podjęto także rozważania w kontekście wpływu stresu na podejmowanie decyzji. Część druga – empiryczna zawiera wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w grupie zawodowej nauczycieli oraz ich analizę. Próba obejmowała 60 osób, w tym 43 kobiety i 17 mężczyzn pracujących w dwóch szkołach średnich. Na zadawane pytania odpowiadali nauczyciele przedmiotów: humanistycznych, zawodowych, ścisłych i innych. Grupa była zróżnicowana pod względem wieku oraz stażu pracy. Do badań została wykorzystana ankieta zawierająca 20 pytań, która została umieszczona jako załącznik tej pracy. Wyniki badań eksponowano za pomocą wykresów, tabel oraz opisów. Na podstawie opracowanych badań można było stwierdzić, że zawód nauczyciela znajduje się w grupie zawodów narażonych na działanie stresu. Hipotezy sformułowane na potrzeby tej pracy potwierdziły się. W większości to kobiety i nauczyciele z krótkim stażem pracy wykazali podatność na czynniki stresogenne. Ale jak wykazały badania to również kobiety i młode osoby łatwiej sobie z nim radzą.

The thesis concerns the influence of stress on the decision-making ability. It consists of two parts. The first part includes the theoretical aspects of the subject related to the problem of the human functioning in the occupational situations and the psychological aspects of work. The phenomenon of stress as well as the effects, ways of dealing with it and the decision-making process have been thoroughly discussed. The second part – the empirical one, presents the results of the research conducted in the vocational group of teachers and the results analysis. The test covered 60 people, including 43 women and 17 men, working in two secondary schools. The teachers of the following subjects: Humanities, vocational courses, Sciences and others, provided answers to the given questions. The group was diversified according to age and experience. The survey was carried out with the use of the questionnaire consisting of 20 questions which has been enclosed as an attachment to this thesis. The test results were presented with the application of charts, tables and descriptions. On the basis of the analyzed research results it can be stated that the profession of the teacher belongs to the group of occupations exposed to the stress effects. The hypotheses formulated for the needs of this thesis have been proved. Mostly, there were women and teachers with short work history who displayed vulnerability to stressogenic factors. However, as the research has confirmed, also women and young people cope with stress more easily.
