Style humoru a struktura osobowości u młodzieży

Abstract

Zarówno poczucie humoru, jak i struktura osobowości jest przedmiotem zainteresowania wielu badaczy. Style humoru wyróżnione przez R. Martina stały się obiektem coraz większej liczby badań a literatura w tej dziedzinie zaczęła intensywnie się zwiększać. W związku z rosnącym zainteresowaniem na temat stylów humoru w psychologii celem mojej pracy jest uzyskanie odpowiedzi na pytanie: Czy istnieje związek pomiędzy stylami humoru a strukturą osobowości? W celu odpowiedzi na to pytanie sformowałam następujące hipotezy: (H1) Osoby cechujące się dojrzałym poczuciem humoru (humor w służbie ego i humor afiliacyjny) uzyskują wyższe wyniki w następujących skalach wymiarów TCI R. Cloningera: Samokierowanie, Skłonność do współpracy i Auto-transcendencja); (H2) Osoby o humorze niedojrzałym (humor agresywny i humor masochistyczny) charakteryzują się niższymi wynikami w powyższych skalach, ale wyższymi w skali Zależność od nagrody oraz w skali Unikanie szkody. Badania zostały przeprowadzone na grupie 122 uczniów liceum w wieku 18 oraz 19 lat (69 kobiet, 53 mężczyzn). W badaniach zostały wykorzystane następujące narzędzia pomiaru: Kwestionariusz Stylów Humoru (HSQ) R. Martina oraz Kwestionariusz Temperamentu i Charakteru (TCI) R. Cloningera. Uzyskane z badań wyniki tylko częściowo potwierdziły postawione hipotezy.

Both the sense of humor and personality structure are the subject of interest of many researches today. Styles of humor operationalized by R. Martin became a subject of the growing number of research projects, and the literature in this field began to develop intensively. The purpose of my work is to answer the following research question: Is there an interdependence between Martin’s styles of humor and personality structure? In order to answer this question there were formulated the following research hypothesis: (H1) People characterized by the mature sense of humor (self-enhancing and affiliative humor) obtain higher scores in the following scales in TCI of R.Cloninger: Selfdirectedness, Cooperativeness, and Self-transcendence; (H2) Individuals with immature sense of humor (aggressive humor and self-defeating humor) obtain lower scores in the above scales in TCI, and higher scores in the following scales in TCI: Reward dependence, and Harm avoidance. The research was conducted on the group of 122 high school students, aged 18 and 19 years (69 women, 53 men). I used the following psychological questionnaires: R. Martin’s Humor Styles Questionnaire (HSQ), and R. Cloninger’s The Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI). The obtained results only partially confirmed the hypothesis.
