Poczucie sensu życia a struktura osobowości u młodzieży

Abstract

Celem mojej pracy jest odpowiedź na pytanie, czy istnieje współzależność między poczuciem sensu życia a strukturą osobowości. Aby odpowiedzieć na to pytanie sformułowałam następujące hipotezy badawcze: H1 - Istnieje niższy poziom współzależności między poziomem poczucia sensu życia a cechami temperamentu; H2 - Istnieje wyższy poziom współzależności między poczuciem sensu życia a cechami charakteru. Weryfikacja hipotez została przeprowadzona przy pomocy następujących metod: (1) Kwestionariusz Temperamentu i Charakteru (TCI) Roberta Cloningera - adaptacja Elżbiety Hornowskiej, (2) Test Celu Życia - Purpose In Life Test (PLT) J.C. Crumbaugha i L.T. Maholicka, (3) Kwestionariusz poczucia sensu życia (MLQ) M.F. Stegera, P. Frazier, Sh. Oishi i M. Kalera Badanie zostało przeprowadzone wśród uczniów klas drugich Liceum Ogólnokształcącego i Technikum Zawodowego. W badaniu wzięło udział 160 osób, w tym 85 kobiet i 75 mężczyzn, w wieku 17 lat. W wyniku przeprowadzonych analiz statystycznych stwierdzono pozytywną weryfikację przyjętych hipotez badawczych.

The primary aim of the current study was to examine if there is a relationship between the sense of meaning in life and the structure of personality. The following hypotheses were put forward: (H1) There is lower level of correlation between the sense of meaning in life and character traits; (H2) there is a higher level of correlation between the sense of meaning in life and temperament traits. Empirical verification of hypotheses was investigated using the following psychological instruments: (1) Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI) of Robert Cloninger, (2) Purpose of Life Test (PLT) of J.C. Crumbaugh and L.T Maholick, and (3) Meaning in Life Questionnaire (MLQ) of M.F Stegera, P. Frazier, Sh. Oishi and K. Kaler. The empirical data were collected from 160 students of secondary schools (85 female and 75 male), 17 years old. The research hypotheses for the current study were confirmed and discussed in the light of previous research.
