Posługiwanie się modelami kompetencyjnymi wprowadziło do procesów
zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi pewien brakujący do tej pory element: zaakcentowanie
znaczenia jakości pracy i sposobu, w jaki ludzie osiągają cele pracy i wykonują
postawione pytania badawcze przeprowadzono wywiad z pracownikiem działu HR.
W trakcie badania poprawności wymaganej dokumentacji, do sprawnego
i chęci doskonalenia. Brakuje również odzwierciedlenia ocen w systemie awansowania,
wynagradzania czy motywowania.
Podsumowując wyniki analizy okresowej oceny kompetencji pracowników w
Stena Recycling Sp. z o.o. zaproponowano kilka możliwych rozwiązań lepszego
(szerszego zastosowania) wykorzystania posiadanego modelu kompetencyjnego.
The use of competency models has introduced a missing element into the processes
of managing human resources – the emphasis has been put on the quality of work and the
way in which workers achieve their goals and execute their tasks. Stena Recycling Ltd has
been using the system of recurring evaluation of professional competency for several
years. In order to find out how the process is carried out, company documentation
concerning the evaluation has been analysed and HR employee has been interviewed.
While checking the correctness of documentation needed, no transgression was
discovered. The competency model used has the appropriate structure and the particular
stages of evaluation are carried out properly. However, a number of deficiencies have been
found. First of all, the results of the evaluation are not fully exploited. The company does
not have a training schedule and employees having certain competence gaps have to rely
on their own internal motivation and willingness to improve. The results of the evaluation
are not reflected in the system of promoting, rewarding or motivating.
Summing up the results of annual evaluation of employees’ competency in Stena
Recycling Ltd, a number of solutions for a wider use of competency model has been
suggested.
