Transport kontenerowy, perspektywy rozwoju na terenie UE

Abstract

Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza poszczególnych czynników wpływających na transport kontenerowy – jego rozwój w Polsce i na świecie, współczesny kształt, możliwe ścieżki rozwoju i postawione cele. Metodą analizy źródłowej, porównano różne definicje i formy transportu, opisano cechy transportu multimodalnego, zdefiniowano usługę transportową z perspektywy ekonomicznej, konsumpcyjnej i gospodarczej, a także poruszono aspekt socjologicznej roli transportu jako pośredniego narzędzia komunikowania się w świecie. Opisano zarówno morskie, lądowe jak i kolejowe drogi transportu kontenerowego, wytłumaczono jednostki miary i rodzaje kontenerów, a na końcu w oparciu o dane faktyczne spółek przewozowych przedstawiono rozwój konteneryzacji w polskim transporcie. Rezultatem pracy jest sformułowanie oceny współczesnych tendencji prowadzących do maksymalnej optymalizacji transportowej, zwiększenia uwagi na ekologicznej odpowiedzialności przewoźników i użycia nowych technologii w procesach transportu.

Main purpouse of the following thesis is the analysis of all the factors influencing container transport – its development in Poland and around the world, contemporary state, the possible paths of development and aims to achieve. By the method of analysis different definitions and mode of transport were compared, so as the significant attributes of the multimodal transport. The definition of transport service was clarified from consumptive and economic perspective, furthermore there was described the sociological aspect of the transport as a form of modern society communication. Both the marine and terrestrial railway container transport paths were described, the units of measurement and types of containers were explained, and finally, based on actual data of the transport companies, the development of containerization in the Polish transport was presented. As a result of the work is to formulate the assessment of contemporary trends leading to maximum optimization of transport, increasing attention to environmental liability of carriers and the use of new technologies in the process of transportation.
