Część empiryczna pracy to wycena przedsiębiorstwa WOJAS S.A. do której wykorzystano wcześniej wymienione metody.
The main objective of this thesis is to valuate a company using two basic methods such as discounted cash flow DCF method and the economic value added EVA method. The study compares these methods and presents their advantages and disadvantages. Some empirical work was done on the example of business valuation of Wojas S.A. using the previously mentioned methods. The analysis and forecasts of the basic financial statements which include balance sheet, profit and loss account and cash flow statement for the period 2011-2020 were carried out. Basic economic values, such as cost of capital, the residual value, discount rate, and free cash flow were estimated. As a result of these calculations, the value of one unit was estimated. In order to receive the price of one share this value was divided by the number of shares. The results from both methods were compared with the market price of shares in 30.12.2011. The thesis of the DCF and EVA methods identity was confirmed on the basis of the results obtained as they turned out to be identical.
