Sektor małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw pełni kluczową rolę w gospodarce, dlatego
bardzo ważny jest rozwój i wzrost konkurencyjności sektora w postępującej globalizacji,
a czynnikiem wspierającym jego rozwój może być pomoc publiczna. Praca ma na celu
prezentację i próbę analizy wpływu funduszu z Unii Europejskiej na rozwój sektora małych
i średnich przedsiębiorstw na przykładzie Firmy Cukierniczo - Gastronomicznej "GRZEŚ".
W pracy przedstawiono rolę małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw oraz regionalne aspekty jego
rozwoju. Przedstawiono terminologię pomocy publicznej oraz cele i zadania polityki
strukturalnej UE oraz realizowane programy operacyjne. Dla realizacji celu pracy
przeprowadzono badanie empiryczne za pomocą metody opisu przypadków, modelu
Churchilla i Lewis oraz metody POS mające na celu odpowiedzieć na pytanie jaki etap
rozwoju osiągnęła Organizacja, jakie są możliwości jej rozwoju oraz dokonano oceny
potencjału wzrostowego poszczególnych czynników komponentów; przedsiębiorcy,
organizacji i strategii oraz jakie są problemy przedsiębiorstwa i sposoby ich rozwiązania.
Przeprowadzone badania empiryczne wykazały, że fundusze z UE były czynnikiem rozwoju
przedsiębiorstwa z sektora MSP oraz podniesienie jego konkurencyjności i wejściem na rynek
wspólnotowy. Racjonalne wykorzystanie udzielanej pomoc publicznej oraz wsparcie
lokalnych samorządów w rozwoju infrastruktury jest bardzo ważnym czynnikiem rozwoju
przedsiębiorstwa oraz rozwoju regionów.
The sector of small and medium companies plays a key role in economy. Therefore, the development of this sector and its competitiveness are very important in an ongoing process of globalisation. One of the factors contributing to this development may be the public support. The dissertation presents and analyses the influence of the European Union grants on the development of the sector of small and medium companies, which is shown in the example of the gastronomic company "GRZEŚ". The role of small and medium companies and the regional aspects of their development are presented in the thesis. The dissertation also describes the public support terminology, the aims and principles of the EU structural politics and its operational programmes. Empirical research was conducted in the form of case studies, Lewis and Churchill's model and the POS method, which aimed at investigating the level of development reached by the organisation and its developmental perspectives. The potential of different components' factors has been assessed. The entrepreneurs, the organisation and various strategies, problems and their solutions were analysed. The empirical research proved that the EU funds turned out to be a developmental factor as regards the sector of small and medium companies, their competitiveness, and the expansion into the European markets. The rational use of the subsidised public support and the encouragement of local governments in the development of infrastructure are significant factors contributing to the development of companies and local regions.
