dc.description.abstract | Adoption of a new orientation process in an organization means a change within the social system. Collaborative forms of work organization become a main feature which distinguishes the new orientation. Teams responsible for the implementation process are mainly characterized by multidisciplinarity and a high degree of autonomy. Empowerment as a method of management in a particular way determines the social system in a process-oriented organization. Development of horizontal communication now depends more on the application of information technology in communication and less on the determination of managers.
