Wsparcie rozwoju sektora małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw ze środków Unii Europejskiej na przykładzie przedsiębiorstwa z województwa małopolskiego

Abstract

Polska w ramach funduszy strukturalnych otrzyma w okresie programowania 2007-2013 około 67,3 mld euro. Jest to największa pomoc przyznana dotychczas państwu członkowskiemu w ramach Polityki Spójności Unii Europejskiej. W poniższej pracy omówiono znaczenie małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw dla rozwoju rynku lokalnego i regionalnego. Przedstawiono politykę Unii Europejskiej wobec małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw. Na tym tle, zaprezentowano możliwości podnoszenia konkurencyjności sektora małych i średnich firm poprzez wykorzystanie funduszy strukturalnych i konkretnych programów skierowanych do tego sektora, m.in. wsparcia działań inwestycyjnych. Teza ta analizuje i przedstawia praktykę stosowania i wykorzystywania funduszy przez firmę Multidrzew, co służy do egzemplifikacji dotychczasowych praktyk.

Under the European Union Structural Funds Poland will receive around € 67.3 billion in the period of 2007-2013. It is the largest aid previously granted to the Member State within the European Union Cohesion Policy. A substantial part of these funds will go to small and medium size enterprises. The dissertation discusses the importance of this sector for the development of the local markets and regional development in Poland. It presents the European Union's policy towards small and medium enterprises and rules for applying for and granting funds. In this context there are many opportunities to improve the competitiveness of small and medium businesses through the use of structural funds and specific programs for this sector, including support of investment activities. The thesis analyzes this and shows the practice of applying for and using funds – the Multidrzew company is used for the exemplification of existing practices.
