Abstract

Zarządzanie jest procesem złożonym i wieloaspektowym, który w realiach organizacyjnych (zwłaszcza w dużych podmiotach gospodarczych) realizowany jest niejednokrotnie przez liczne grono kierowników i menadżerów różnych szczebli. Ogólna idea zarządzania sprowadza się do odpowiedniego wykorzystania kompilacji posiadanych zasobów ( ludzkich, materialnych, niematerialnych itd.) w celu osiągnięcia odpowiedniego poziomu zyskowności oraz realizacji innych założonych celów. Podkreślić trzeba że „kształt” procesu zarządzania jest w dużej mierze uzależniony także od specyficznych realiów branży działania danej organizacji. Obecnie wiele branż, dotychczas utożsamianych z biznesem, także ulega komercjalizacji. Siłą rzeczy działające w nich podmioty przestawiają się na różnego rodzaju strategie marketingowe. Działalność uzdrowiska jest przykładem branży, która przeszła taką metamorfozę. Do jej komercjalizacji w dużej mierze przyczynił się równoległy rozwój komercyjnych usług zdrowotnych, leczniczych, wypoczynkowych, SPA, itp.. W tradycyjnej działalności uzdrowiskowej duże znaczenie miała także polityka zdrowotna państwa. Pod wpływem jej zmian – i to raczej na niekorzyść– tradycyjne uzdrowiska musiały zacząć szukać dodatkowych źródeł dochodów. Doszło do swoistego zacierania różnic między tradycyjnymi uzdrowiskami a podmiotami prywatnymi. Obecnie zakres świadczonych usług w obu kategoriach podmiotów jest istotnie zbliżony. W pracy skupiono się właśnie na ocenie specyfiki zarządzania w podmiotach działających w szeroko rozumianej działalności uzdrowiskowej i SPA. Praca składa się z pięciu rozdziałów. Teoretyczna część pracy dotyczy kolejno: charakterystyki procesu zarządzania organizacją, analizy funkcjonalnych aspektów egzystencji rynkowej podmiotu gospodarczego oraz jej struktury wewnętrznej. Następnie przedstawiono specyfikę działania firm w branży uzdrowiskowej, która w istotnej mierze warunkuje proces zarządzania. W części badawczej pracy dokonano analizy procesu zarządzania realizowanego w Sanatorium Uzdrowiskowym Budowlani w Szczawnicy. Analiza wyników badań pozwoliła wskazać propozycje zmian w procesie zarządzania realizowanego we wspomnianym podmiocie gospodarczym. Rozdział badawczy finalizują wnioski – to syntetyczna ocena uzyskanych wyników badań. Zakończenie pracy to podsumowanie podjętej problematyki.

The management is a complex and multifaceted process, which in the organizational reality (especially in big business entities) is being carried out more than once by the numerous circle of directors and managers of different ranks. The general idea of the management comes down to the appropriate use of the complications of the possessed resources (human, material, immaterial etc) in order to achieve the appropriate level of the profitability and accomplishment of other goals. It is necessary to underline the fact that the “shape” of the management process in great measure also depends on thepeculiar realities of the business achivities of the given organization. At present a lot of industries previously identified with the business, are also undergoing the commercialization. Necessarily entities operating in them are switching to marketing strategies of various kinds. The SPA activity is an example of the industry which has undergone such a metamorphosis. The parallel development of the commercial health, healing, holiday, SPA and other services has in great measure contributed to the commercialization. The health policy of the state was very important in the traditional spa activity. The thesis is focused on the assessment of the specificity of the management in the entities operating in widely understood spa activity and SPA. It consists of five chapters. The theoretical part is devoted to: the characteristics of the process of organization management, the analysis of the functional aspects of the market existence of the business entity and its internal structure. Next chapter describes the specificity of the functioning of the companies in the spa industry which in the significant measure is conditioning the process of management. the research part of the thesis provides analysis of the management process in the Budowlani Spa in Szczawnica. The analysis of the findings allowed to indicate the proposals for changes in the process of the management in the recalled business entity. The conclusions of the research chapter are presented as a synthetic evaluation of the obtained findings. The conclusion of the thesis is a summary of the issues taken up.
