Abstrakt
Celem pracy jest charakterystyka istoty działania organizacji pozarządowych oraz ich funkcji
w rozwoju lokalnym, a także diagnoza społecznych funkcji Fundacji Pomocy Osobom
Niepełnosprawnym w Stróżach wraz z rekomendacjami co do kierunków ich dalszego rozwoju.
Przedstawiono wpływ organizacji na rozwój lokalny, kierunki dalszego rozwoju. Ukazany został cel
działania Fundacji, etapy rozwoju, a także plany na przyszłość. Efektem badania jest określenie
mocnych i słabych stron Fundacji oraz zalecenia, co do dalszego rozwoju jej funkcji.
Do silnych stron fundacji należą: rozwój kultury, edukacji, rozwój sportu i rekreacji, integracja
społeczna grup pokrzywdzonych. Słabymi stronami analizowanej organizacji są poprawa warunków i
jakość życia ludzi. Na podstawie analizy SWOT określono następujące rekomendacje, co do rozwoju
społecznych funkcji fundacji: podstawowym zaleceniem jest, aby Fundacja zwiększyła bardziej
współpracę z osobami niepełnosprawnymi w kraju i za granicą, powinna zwiększyć współpracę z
uczelniami w kraju, Fundacja powinna podejmować współpracę z organizacjami pozarządowymi z
zakresu pomocy osobom niepełnosprawnym.
W pracy zastosowano takie metody badawcze jak analiza literatury przedmiotu i
dokumentacji oraz wywiad bezpośredni częściowo ustrukturyzowany według listy pytań z Prezesem
Fundacji.
The aim of this thesis is to characterize the essence of NGOs and their role in local development and to diagnose social functions of the Foundation for Assistance to the Disabled People in Stróże followed by recommendations as to the directions of their further development. The influence on local development and directions for further development were described. The purpose of the Foundation, the stages of its development, as well as their plans for the future were described. The effect of this research is the identification of strengths and weaknesses of the Foundation, and recommendations for further development of its functions. The strengths of the Foundation include the development of culture, education, sport and recreation, and also social integration of disadvantaged groups. They also improve the conditions and quality of life of people. Based on the SWOT analysis the following recommendations regarding the development of the social functions of the foundation were identified: the primary recommendation is that the Foundation increases cooperation with the disabled people in Poland and abroad, an it should also increase its cooperation with Polish universities. The foundation should cooperate with other NGOs in the field of assistance to the disabled persons. This thesis included used such research methods as analysis of the literature and documentation in the field, and a partially structure direct interview with the President of the Foundation based on a list of questions.
