Tematyka pracy jest wyrazem moich zainteresowań specyfiką funkcjonowania i zarządzania Placówką Interwencyjną. Funkcjonowanie placówki, która sprawuje zadania opiekuńcze i wychowawcze wymaga wielu umiejętności od dyrektora i wychowawców. Sprawowanie nadzoru i wychowania nad dziećmi i młodzieżą z rodzin patologicznych, często z dużym stopniem niedostosowania społecznego niesie ze sobą różnego rodzaju zagrożenia wychowawcze.
The subject of the thesis is an expression of my interest in the matter of functioning as well as managing Protective- Educational Outposts. The functioning of the outpost, which incorporates tasks within raising as well as protecting requires considerable skill from the principal and care takers. Supervising and raising children and teenagers from pathological families, often with a high degree of social dysfunction carries along many types of hazards in raising adolescents. From which their systematization and trial of diagnosis found their extensive display of merit in the thesis. Managing a Protective-Educational Outpost, as well as its personnel, is faced with many risks and unpredictable happenings, often critical ones, which could have an effect in a strong way not only on the pupils but also on the care takers. The thesis is theoretical and combines research. The point of entering the research was establishing the issues, goals and hypothesis of research. The choice of method was a questionnaire as well as inquiry- sheet with extensive modules was guided by the goal, for example, diagnosing and evaluating the risk level of the care takers burning out in their work in the Protective- Educational Outposts. The research indicated that the work of pedagogues in the environment filled with teenagers that are socially challenged in fact is endangered by many sources of stress and could lead to the appearance of symptoms of career burn-out.
