Motywacja do nauki a struktura osobowości u studentów

Abstract

Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy dyplomowej jest zbadanie i wyjaśnienie współzależności między rodzajem motywacji do nauki, a strukturą cech osobowości. Celem rozstrzygnięcia pytania problemowego sformułowano trzy hipotezy. Hipoteza ogólna: Istnieje współzależność pomiędzy rodzajem motywacji do nauki a strukturą cech osobowości mierzonych w NEO-PI- R. Hipotezy szczegółowe: Istnieje współzależność pomiędzy motywacją wewnętrzną a wskaźnikami ekstrawersji, otwartości na doświadczenie i sumienności. Druga hipoteza szczegółowa: Istnieje współzależność pomiędzy motywacją zewnętrzną a wskaźnikami neurotyczności i ugodowości. W celu weryfikacji przyjętych hipotez przeprowadzono badania wśród studentów Państwowej Wyższej Szkoły Zawodowej w Nowym Sączu. Grupa badawcza składała się ze 124 osób. Do badania wykorzystano dwie metody diagnostyczne: Kwestionariusz Motywacji do Nauki (KMN) autorstwa B. Neyrinck (2006), oraz Kwestionariusz Osobowości NEO-PI-R, P.T. Costy i R. McCrae. Przyjęta hipoteza ogólna oraz pierwsza z hipotez szczegółowych zostały potwierdzone w przeprowadzonych i opracowanych badaniach. Wyniki badań wskazują na to, że istnieje pozytywna współzależność pomiędzy wewnętrzną motywacją do nauki a cechami struktury osobowości. Druga hipoteza szczegółowa nie została pozytywnie zweryfikowana. Osoby z grup o wysokim i niskim poziomie motywacji zewnętrznej nie różnią się między sobą statystycznie znacząco w skalach neurotyczności i ugodowości.

The thesis consider the issue of the research and explanation of the correlation between the type of the motivation to learn and the structure of the personality traits. Three hypotheses have been formulated to determine the problem question. The general hypothesis: There is a significant correlation between the type of motivation to learn and the structure of personality traits measured by the NEO-PI-R. The specific hypothesis: There is a correlation between the internal motivation and the Extraversion indicators, Openness to experience and Conscientiousness. The second specific hypothesis: There is a correlation between the external motivation and the indicators of Neuroticism and Agreeableness. To find the answer to our hypothesis the research among the students of the State Higher Vocational School in Nowy Sącz has been done. The research group consisted of 124 people. For the research two diagnostic methods have been used: Questionnaire motivation to learn (KMN) by B. Neyrinck (2066) and Personality Questionnaire, NEO-PI-R, P.T. Costa and R. McCrae. The accepted general hypothesis and the first specific hypothesis have been confirmed in tests carried out and developed. The results indicate that there is a positive correlation between the internal motivation to learn and the features of personality structure. The second hypothesis has not been confirmed. The people with high and low levels of external motivation were not significantly diversified in the Neuroticism and Agreeableness scales.
