Praca ma charakter badawczy i jest poświęcona tematyce kompetencji społecznych i
obrazu siebie u młodzieży licealnej. Badania przeprowadzono na grupie 120 osób (74 kobiet i
46 mężczyzn) w wieku 16 do 19 lat. Celem badań psychologicznych była weryfikacja hipotez
o istnieniu współzmienności między poziomem kompetencji społecznych a obrazem siebie.
Do pomiaru obrazu siebie wykorzystano Skalę Obrazu Siebie (TSCS) W. H. Fittsa oraz
Kwestionariusza Kompetencji Społecznych (KKS) Anny Matczak. Uzyskane wyniki
potwierdziły trafność przyjętej hipotezy badawczej. Potwierdzone zostało również założenie,
że osoby o wysokim poziomie kompetencji społecznych charakteryzuje pozytywna samoocena w wymiarach wewnętrznych Skali TSCS, oraz, że osoby uzyskujące niski poziom
kompetencji społecznych charakteryzuje niska ogólna samoocena w wymiarach zewnętrznych
Skali TSCS.
The subject matter of this thesis is an interdependence between social competence and self image at youth. The age of young people who taken part in this attended in research was
between 16 and 19 years old. The membership was counted in 120 people (74 female and 46
male). The main goal of this thesis was checking the existence of correlation between social
competence and self-image. The scientific research were done by The Tennesse Self-Concept
Scale and The Social Competence Questionnaire Scale. Gotten performance confirmed
correlation among the level of social competence and the structure of Self. The idea of the fact
that people with high level of social competence have positive self-assessment concerning
internal dimensions of the self structure TSCS Scale was affirmed. Also the hypothesis that
people who have low level of social competence have low self-assessment among external
dimensions of the self structure TSCS Scale was appropriate.
