Ocena skuteczności systemu motywacyjnego w Gimnazjum nr 2 im. św. Królowej Jadwigi w Olkuszu

Abstract

Motywacja jest jednym z kluczowych problemów życia każdego człowieka. W procesie kierowania szkołą jest dla dyrektora bardzo ważnym zagadnieniem. Dyrektor szkoły musi stwarzać takie sytuacje, które motywują do lepszej pracy, ale jednocześnie dają satysfakcję i zadowolenie z dobrze wykonywanych zadań. W środowisku nauczycielskim, wrażliwym na stosunki w pracy, autorytet własny, prestiż zawodowy, poczucie sprawiedliwości i obiektywizmu, funkcja motywacji ma specyficzne znaczenie. Skuteczne motywowanie pracowników jest jednym z najważniejszych zadań dyrektora współczesnej szkoły. Badania prowadzono w listopadzie 2010 roku w Gimnazjum Nr 2 im. Św. Królowej Jadwigi Olkuszu. Celem badań niniejszej pracy jest analiza stosowanego systemu motywacyjnego w gimnazjum. Uznano, że jego realizacja wymaga odwołania się do opinii nauczycieli badanej szkoły. Jako narzędzie badań wykorzystano więc kwestionariusz ankiety skierowanej do nauczycieli. Przedmiotem badań były opinie nauczycieli na temat stosowanego w badanej szkole systemu motywacyjnego oraz analiza dokumentacji. Podjęte badania stanowią podstawę ustalenia skuteczności i dostosowania systemu motywacyjnego do oczekiwań nauczycieli. Zebrany materiał empiryczny potwierdza postawione w pracy hipotezy: skuteczny system motywowania oparty jest o czynniki materialne i niematerialne dostosowane do oczekiwań nauczycieli, system motywacyjny w badanej szkole powinien zostać poddany ewaluacji, by dostosować go do oczekiwań wszystkich nauczycieli.

Motivation is one of the key issues in life of each individual. In the process of school management, it is a crucial problem for a headmaster. The headmaster has to bring about the situations, which motivate people to work harder, but at the same time these should satisfy employees and make them feel content with their well-done tasks. Teaching staff is very sensitive to human relations at work, their own authority, prestige, sense of justice and impartiality, so the role of motivation is of special importance here. Effective motivating of the teachers is one of the most important assignments of the headmaster. Some research was conducted in November 2010 in the Saint Queen’s Jadwiga Gymnasium No. 2 in Olkusz. The purpose of the research carried out in this work is analysis of the motivational system applied in gymnasium. It has been acknowledged, that achievement of this objective has a lot to do with the teachers’ opinions. It is a questionnaire targeted to the teachers that has been used as a research tool. The teachers’ opinions on the motivational system used in the given school and analysis of documents were a subject of study. The undertaken studies are a basis for determining the effectiveness and customizing the motivational system to the teachers’ expectations and needs. The collected empirical material confirms the fairness of the adopted hypotheses: the effective motivational system is based on material and intangible factors which are adjusted to the teachers’ expectations, the motivational system in the given school should be evaluated in order to be adapted to the expectations of all teachers.
