Aktywne metody zwalczania bezrobocia na przykładzie miasta Nowego Sącza

Abstract

Główną kwestią merytoryczną omawianej pracy jest ocena poziomu wykorzystania aktywnych metod w zwalczaniu zjawiska bezrobocia. Przedstawiono terminologię, definicję oraz teoretyczne aspekty zjawiska jakim jest bezrobocie, a także opisano aktywne metody wykorzystywane do walki z bezrobociem. Dla lepszego zrozumienia mechanizmów bezrobocia oraz przeciwdziałania temu zjawisku, przeprowadzono analizę tych działań na terenie Nowego Sącza. Pokrótce przedstawiono najważniejsze informacje dotyczące Nowego Sącza – jego historię, położenie, warunki ekonomiczne. Opisano działania podejmowane przez miejscowy Urząd Pracy oraz oceniono ich efekty. Rezultaty jakie otrzymano z przeprowadzonych badań pozwoliły na wyciągnięcie pewnych wniosków. Mianowicie wyniki analiz potwierdziły to, iż sytuacja na sądeckim rynku pracy jest stosunkowo ciężka. Osobom bezrobotnym bardzo trudno znaleźć zatrudnienie, a Urząd Pracy pomimo szeroko zakrojonych starań nie jest w stanie zaradzić rosnącemu bezrobociu w mieście, jak i w całym regionie.

The main issue of this thesis is to assess the level of use of active methods in coping with unemployment. The paper presents the terminology, definition, theoretical aspects of unemployment, and it describes the methods used to actively fight unemployment. For a better understanding of the mechanisms of unemployment and to counteract this phenomenon, an analysis of these activities in the area of Nowy Sacz was carried out. The most important information about Nowy Sacz was presented briefly. Namely, its history, location and economic conditions. Moreover, the actions taken by the local Labour Office and their effects in the case of unemployment were assessed. The results obtained from the study made it possible to draw certain conclusions. Namely, the results of the survey confirmed that the situation on the labour market of Nowy Sącz is relatively poor. The unemployed are forced to cope with a lot of difficulties to find a job. What is more, despite its extensive efforts, the Office of Labour is unable to deal with the growing unemployment in the town and throughout the region either.
