Abstract:
The main goal of the paper was to outline the problem of strategy formulation,
implementation, and control in non-governmental organisations. In the
first part of article the factors strengthening importance of non-governmental
organisations in polish economy were presented. Further on the authors described
the specificity of strategic management in non-governmental organisations.
In the next part of article the Balanced Scorecard adaptation to nongovernmental
organisations was show. At the end of the paper an example of
Balanced Scorecard implementation in selected foundation was presented.
