Ocena dostępności komunikacyjnej Zakopanego

Abstract

W niniejszej pracy obszarem badań objęto miasto Zakopane. Powodem takiego wyboru było położenie oraz znaczenie turystyczne miasta. Autor za cel postawił sobie zbadanie dostępności komunikacyjnej Zakopanego i jej wpływu na rozwój turystyki. W celu przedstawienia badanego problemu, podczas pisania pracy wykorzystano publikacje naukowe, informacje ogólnodostępne dotyczące Zakopanego, a przede wszystkim rozwoju turystyki w tym mieście, aktualne oraz archiwalne rozkłady jazdy, dane pochodzące z Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego. Przeprowadzenie badań ankietowych wśród 50 losowo wybranych osób wypoczywających w miejscowości, pozwoliło na ocenę aktualnej sytuacji poprzez osoby mieszkające poza Zakopanem. Rozwój dostępności komunikacyjnej i dążenie do jej poprawy zgodnie z założonymi w Strategii zrównoważonego rozwoju miasta celami, jak również możliwość pozyskiwania na ten cel środków unijnych daje badanej miejscowości szanse na rozwój. Poprzez rozwój dostępności komunikacyjnej, a co za tym idzie turystyki Zakopane ma w przyszłości możliwość, aby stać się centrum sportów zimowych i rekreacji, a jednocześnie jednym z ważniejszych ośrodków turystycznych w kraju.

In this work, the subject of the research is Zakopane city. The reason for choosing Zakopane was its location and the tourism, which is one of the most important part of Zakopane. The aim of this research was to examine the availability of the transport infrastructure in Zakopane and its influence on the tourism growth. In order to fully picture this issue the different sources were used like literature and the information available about Zakopane concerning tourism development, the latest and past timetables and the data from Central Statistical Office. The research in form of questionnaire was conducted among 50 people spending holidays in Zakopane, this gave the clear view of the problem and showed how it is perceived by the tourists. The change of the transport infrastructure and the strive for its development, what is one of the city development strategy, along with the help available from the European Union gives Zakopane lots of possibilities for changes and growth. Through the development of transportation along with tourism growth Zakopane has a huge possibility to become one of the biggest center of winter sports and recreation, and at the same time one of the most important tourism center in the country.
