Transport kolejowy w logistyce na przykładzie kolei w Polsce i Europie

Abstract

Logistyka to wszelkie działania związane z zarządzaniem a także przemieszczaniem i składowaniem materiałów i towarów. Z logistyką mamy do czynienia na wszystkich etapach produkcji oraz w czasie dostaw towarów do klientów pośrednich i docelowych. Logistyka jest to również przepływ informacji na temat sposobu przewozu, ilości, czasu oraz sposobu transportu poszczególnych elementów oraz gotowych produktów. Głównym elementem łańcucha logistycznego jest transport, który występuje pomiędzy wszystkimi ogniwami procesu produkcji, dystrybucji i konsumpcji. Transport towarowy spełnia swe funkcje w realizacji dostaw zaopatrzenia materiałowego do produkcji, a następnie w procesie dystrybucji gotowych wyrobów do magazynu konsumenta lub półfabrykatów do dalszego przetworzenia. W niniejszej pracy scharakteryzowano zagadnienia związane z logistyką w działalności przedsiębiorstw oraz opisano istotę transportu kolejowego w logistyce na przykładzie kolei w Polsce i w Europie.

A logistics is all action associated with managing as well as transferring and storing materials and goods. We are dealing with the logistics on all stages of manufacture and during deliveries of goods to indirect and target customers. A logistics is also a flow of information about the manner of the transport, the amount of time and the type of transport of particular elements and finished products. A transport which is appearing as a main element of the logistic chain between all cells of the manufacturing process, of distribution and the consumption. The freight transportation performs its functions in the realization of supplies of the materials to the production, and then in the marketing process of final goods to the consumer's magazine or semi-finished products for further processing. At this work the issues associated with the logistics were characterized in the activity of companies as well as nature of the rail transport was described in the logistics on the example of railways in Poland and in Europe.
