Wpływ Funduszy Europejskich na rynek produktów pszczelich w Małopolsce

Abstract

Głównym celem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej jest zbadanie wpływu funduszy unijnych na rynek produktów pszczelich w Polsce (szczególnie województwo Małopolskie, powiat Nowy Sącz). Kolejno umówiono: Program Rozwoju Obszarów Wiejskich (realizowany i planowany), specyfikę pszczelarstwa (historię i aktualne problemy), mechanizmy wsparcia chowu pszczół (analiza kierunków wsparcia, danych dotyczących rynku pszczelego oraz środków unijnych przeznaczonych na jego rozwój), historie rozwoju dwóch wykorzystujących refundacje z UE gospodarstw pasiecznych z terenu Małopolski – „Sądeckiego Bartnika oraz „Misia”. Po analizie danych stwierdzono, iż środki unijne mają niebagatelny wpływ na rozwój, unowocześnienie i poprawę kondycji sektora pszczelarskiego w Polsce. Tezę tę obrazuje zarówno liczba beneficjentów korzystająca z refundacji, ilość realizowanych programów, suma wypłacanych pieniędzy; jak i przywołane konkretne przypadki gospodarstw pasiecznych z południowej części kraju. Mimo wielu programów, mechanizmów, badań mających na celu pomoc temu sektorowi gospodarki, wciąż obserwuje się zjawisko masowego wymierania pszczół. Ekolodzy i producenci produktów pszczelich apelują zatem do władz o podjęcie działań chroniących życie tych niezwykle pożytecznych dla ekosystemu owadów.

The main goal of this theses is to investigate the influence of the EU funds on the market of the honey and honey related products in Poland, with a special focus on the region of Małopolska and surroundings of Nowy Sacz. The following topics are present: PROW – Program of Development of Rural Regions, the specific issues related to beekeeping (history and current problems), the instruments to support beekeeping farms. We also present a history of the development of two important beekeeping centers using the EU support: “Sądecki Bartnik” and “Miś”. After a careful analysis we came to the conclusion, that the EU funds have a significant influence in promoting beekeeping farms, their modernization and improving the general conditions of beekeeping in Poland. Such influence can be easily documented through the sheer number of beneficiaries profiting from support programs, the amount of funds dedicated and also by studying specific cases from the southern part of Poland. Unfortunately, in spite of many programs and support mechanisms, we continue to observe a massive disappearance of the bee swarms. Ecological activists and honey producers therefore frequently call the appropriate authorities to undertake actions that can lead to preserving the number of bee swarms that are so important for healthy and balanced ecosystems.
