W pracy przedstawiono budowę i działanie tachografów samochodowych, stosowanych w samochodach ciężarowych i autobusach. W pierwszej części pracy przedstawiono wymagania prawne dotyczące stosowania tachografów w samochodach. Zakres pracy obejmuje także ogólną charakterystykę oraz podział tachografów analogowych i cyfrowych. Dzięki tego typu nowoczesnym urządzeniom montowanym w pojazdach można z łatwością kontrolować pracę kierowcy. Tachograf jest bardzo cennym urządzeniem, który ma istotny wpływ na bezpieczeństwo kierowcy i innych użytkowników dróg. Na wybranych przykładach zaprezentowano opisy budowy i działania tachografów wraz z obsługą. Praca zawiera również opis regulacji prawnych dotyczących czasu pracy i odpoczynku kierowcy zawodowego w transporcie drogowym. Przepisy te wynikają z zasady bezpieczeństwa drogowego. W końcowej części pracy przedstawiono jak owe ograniczenia wyglądają i ile może trwać jazda bez obowiązkowej przerwy, i czy odpoczynek w jeździe jest już konieczny. Należy zwrócić uwagę, że za czas pracy kierowców zawodowego przyjmuje się nie tylko kierowanie pojazdem, ale również czynności, które są związane z wykonywaniem przewozu drogowego.
This paper presents the design and operation of vehicle tachographs used in trucks and buses. First part presents the legal requirements regarding the use of tachographs in the trucks. The scope of work includes the general characteristics and the distribution of analogue and digital tachographs. Thanks to this type of modern devices, mounted on vehicles, the drivers working time can be easily controlled. Tachograph is a very valuable device, which has a significant impact on the safety of the driver and other road users. The Bachelor presents selected description examples of the construction and operation of the tachograph and their service. The paper contains a description of the legal regulations on working time and rest periods of professional road transport drivers. These rules derives from the principles of road safety. The final part focuses on showing how these constraints look, how long the driver can drive without mandatory rest breaks and whether the rest is necessary. It should be noted that the working time of professional drivers are not attached only to driving, but also to many activities that are associated with the performance of road transport.
