Kobieta w religii chrześcijańskiej i islamskiej

Abstract

Chrześcijaństwo i islam, to dwie największe religie monoteistyczne świata. Powstałe na gruncie zupełnie innych kultur, w zupełnie innych warunkach, czasach i miejscach. Mimo, iż mają ze sobą wiele wspólnego, to jednak istnieje między nimi ogromna przepaść w kwestii określenia miejsca kobiet. Zachód przekonany jest, że kobieta w świecie islamu nie ma żadnych praw. Natomiast świat islamu uważa, iż kobiety na zachodzie przekroczyły granice przyzwoitość i nie mają godności, przez co są bezwzględnie wykorzystywane przez mężczyzn. Niniejsza praca przedstawia pozycję oraz prawa i obowiązki kobiet, które zostały nałożone im przez religie chrześcijańską i islamską. Celem pracy jest ukazanie roli i wiążących się z tym praw i obowiązków kobiet, a następnie wskazanie istotnych różnic i podobieństw w życiu kobiet na podstawie analizy wybranych fragmentów z Nowego Testamentu i Koranu oraz odpowiedzenie na postawione pytanie badawcze i hipotezę, która zakłada, że religia islamska potraktowała kobiety niesprawiedliwie w przeciwieństwie do chrześcijaństwa. W niniejszej pracy został przedstawiony punkt widzenia religii chrześcijańskiej i islamskiej na status i pozycję kobiety. Analizie poddane zostały fragmenty, mówiące o kobietach według kategorii, takich jak małżeństwo, macierzyństwo, cudzołóstwo, rozwód, ubiór oraz los wdów. Analiza i płynące z niej wnioski pozwoliły na obalenie postawionej hipotezy. Z analizy zebranego materiału wynika, że żadna z omawianych religii nie potraktowała kobiet niesprawiedliwie. A mianowicie, zarówno religia chrześcijańska, jak i islamska podniosła wartość i godność kobiety jako istoty ludzkiej oraz zapewniła pewne normy prawne i społeczne.

Christianity and Islam are the largest monotheistic religons in the world. They appered on the basis of totally different cultures, in totally different conditions, periods and places. Despite the fact they have a lot in common, an enormous gulf connected with status of women exists. The west is convinced woman in Islam has any. On the other hand the Islamic world believes the women in the west overstepped the bounds of respectability and have no dignity, which result in that they are absolutely abused by men. The present presentation presents status as well as rights and duties of women, which were imposed on them by Christianity and Islam. The objective of my presentation is to show a function and connected with it rights and duties of women, and then intimate significant differences and similarities in women’s life on the basis of analysis of chosen fragments from New Testament and Koran as well as giving the answer to research question and hypothesis , which supposed that islamic religion treated women inequitably contrarily to Christianity. In the present presentation , the perspective of Chistianity and Islam on the status and rank of woman is shown. Fragments about women were subjected to analysis by categories like marriage, maternity, fornication , divorce, attire and widow women’s fate. Analysis and conclusions enabled to demolish the hypothesis. From the analysis of the ruched material results that none of presented religions did not treat women unfairly. Namely, Christianity as well as Islam enhanced the value and the dignity of women as human being and provided specific legal and social standards .
