Ubóstwo i wykluczenie jako społeczno-ekonomiczne konsekwencje bezrobocia na lokalnym rynku pracy powiatu nowosądeckiego

Abstract

W pracy magisterskiej poruszono problem ubóstwa i wykluczenia społecznego z punktu widzenia opinii mieszkańców powiatu nowosądeckiego. Celem pracy jest próba identyfikacji i oceny ubóstwa oraz wykluczenia społecznego jako konsekwencji bezrobocia na lokalnym rynku pracy powiatu nowosądeckiego. Praca składa się z czterech rozdziałów. W rozdziale pierwszym zaprezentowane są podstawowe zagadnienia dotyczące bezrobocia. Rozdział drugi zawiera opis zjawiska ubóstwa. Zostały w nim przedstawione rodzaje oraz przyczyny ubóstwa, a także opisano czynniki wykluczenia społecznego. Oprócz tego ukazany jest system zabezpieczenia społecznego i pomocy społecznej. Rozdział trzeci to głównie społeczno - gospodarcza charakterystyka powiatu. Przedstawiono w nim wielkość i strukturę bezrobocia w latach 2010-2013 oraz zagrożenia ubóstwem i wykluczeniem społecznym w regionie Małopolski. Rozdział czwarty przedstawia działania instytucji lokalnych w zakresie łagodzenie skutków bezrobocia oraz ubóstwa na terenie powiatu nowosądeckiego. Została w nim przeprowadzona analiza opinii mieszkańców na temat społeczno – ekonomicznych uwarunkowań ubóstwa i wykluczenia społecznego. Część teoretyczna pracy została napisana w oparciu o literaturę przedmiotu z zakresu bezrobocia, natomiast w części badawczej wykorzystano ankietę przeprowadzoną wśród mieszkańców powiatu.

The thesis addresses the issue of problem of poverty and social exclusion from the viewpoint of the inhabitants of the Nowy Sącz county. The aim of the study was to identify and assess poverty and social exclusion as a consequence of unemployment in the local labor market of Nowy Sącz district. The work consists of four chapters. The first chapter presents the basic issues of unemployment. The second chapter describes the phenomenon of poverty. It presents the different types and causes of poverty and it also describes the factors of social exclusion. In addition, this chapter shows a system of social security and social assistance. The third chapter is mainly socio – economic characteristics of the county. It presents the size and structure of unemployment in the years 2010-2013 and the risk of poverty and social exclusion in the region of Małopolska. The fourth chapter describes the actions of local institutions to mitigate the effects of unemployment and poverty in the county of Nowy Sącz. It was conducted analysis of inhabitants opinions on the socio - economic determinants of poverty and social exclusion. The theoretical part of the work was written based on the literature in the field of unemployment. In contrast, the research part was written based on an analysis of data from the survey carried out among the county inhabitants.
