Terroryzm we współczesnym świecie

Abstract

Terroryzm jest zjawiskiem wielopłaszczyznowym i dynamicznym, występującym w różnych postaciach. Zdefiniowanie tego zjawiska jest trudne ze względu na progresywny charakter zmian, jakie dokonują się pod wpływem rozwoju cywilizacyjnego jak też postępu naukowo – technicznego. Niniejsza praca ukazuje zjawisko terroryzmu jako jednego z głównych problemów współczesnego świata, stanowiącego zagrożenie dla bezpieczeństwa międzynarodowego. Omówiono w pracy licencjackiej definicyjne ujęcie tego zjawiska, jego zarys historyczny oraz dokonano podziału na typy i odmiany terroryzmu, uwzględniając terroryzm ideologiczny, separatystyczno– niepodległościowy, terroryzm o podłożu religijnym oraz cyberterroryzm. Przedstawiono również metody działania organizacji terrorystycznych oraz sposoby ich finansowania. Ponadto zaprezentowano koncepcje zwalczania organizacji terrorystycznych na świecie oraz przedstawiono podstawy prawne przeciwdziałania terroryzmowi, zarówno na świecie jak i w naszym kraju. Celem pracy jest omówienie oraz przybliżenie zjawiska terroryzmu i sposobów jego zwalczania.

Terrorism is a multilevel and dynamic phenomenon, which appears in various ways. It is difficult to define this phenomenon because of progressive character of changes made by the civilization development as well as scientific and technical progress. This bachelor thesis is about the phenomenon of terrorism as one of the main problems of the modern world forming danger of the international safety. In the bachelor thesis not only the phenomenon of terrorism is presented but also its historical outline. Terrorism is divided into types and varieties, like ideological terrorism, separatist and independent one, terrorism of the religious background as well as cyber terrorism. The methods of terrorist organizations’ activity and ways of their funding are also presented. Moreover, concepst of fight against terrorist organizations in the world and legal basis of terrorism counteraction either in the world or in Poland are described. The purpose of the bachelor thesis is presenting the phenomenon of terrorism and ways of its fight.
