Zadania administracji samorządowej w zakresie rozwoju turystyki na przykładzie Gminy Stary Sącz

Abstract

Temat pracy dyplomowej dotyczył realizacji zadań administracji samorządowej w zakresie rozwoju turystyki na przykładzie Gminy Stary Sącz. Badanie mające na celu uzyskanie informacji na temat stopnia realizacji powyższych zadań, zostało przeprowadzone wśród mieszkańców gminy, przy wykorzystaniu narzędzia badawczego w postaci kwestionariusza ankiety. Badanie pozwoliło na dokonanie analizy oraz oceny pracy administracji samorządowej w zakresie rozwoju turystyki. Z przeprowadzonego badania własnego wynikało, iż zadania realizowane przez administrację samorządową gminy, zostały ocenione przez grupę ankietowanych pozytywnie. Działania administracji samorządowej w ramach przyjętych zadań, były prowadzone sukcesywnie i obejmowały między innymi pozyskiwanie środków finansowych na przygotowanie zaplecza turystycznego, a także modernizację infrastruktury technicznej oraz odrestaurowywanie zabytków. Ponadto w ramach zadań własnych związanych z rozwojem turystyki, administracja samorządowa zajmowała się tworzeniem nowych atrakcji turystycznych, promocją regionu oraz produktu turystycznego. Efektem całkowitego zaangażowania administracji samorządowej w realizację zadań w zakresie rozwoju turystyki, było zwiększenie ruchu turystycznego w badanym regionie, przyczyniające się bezpośrednio do wzrostu dochodów gospodarstw domowych oraz budżetu miasta.

This thesis concerned the implementation of the tasks of local government related to tourism development on the example of Stary Sącz commune. The survey aimed at obtaining the information on the degree of implementation of the above tasks. It was conducted among the residents of the municipality, using a research tool in the form of a questionnaire. The survey allowed to analyse and evaluate the work of local government in the development of tourism. According to the group of respondents, the tasks carried out by the local administrative organisations received a positive opinion. The activities of local government within the accepted tasks were carried out gradually and included, inter alia: raising funds for the preparation of tourist facilities, as well as the modernization of technical infrastructure and restoration of the monuments. Moreover, in the context of their own tasks related to the development of tourism, the local administration dealt with the creation of new tourist attractions, promoting the region and the tourism products. The result of the total commitment of the local government administration in the implementation of the tasks related to tourism development, was to increase the tourist traffic in the studied region, which contributed directly to the growth of household incomes and the city budget.
