Przedmiotem rozważań w niniejszej pracy magisterskiej jest problem rozwoju handlu. Temat ten zaprezentowano na przykładzie Limanowej. Celem badania była identyfikacja opinii i postaw mieszkańców Limanowej wobec rozwoju handlu w tym mieście. Badanie zostało przeprowadzone wśród pełnoletnich mieszkańców Limanowej. Techniką badania była ankieta internetowa. Praca miała charakter teoretyczno – empiryczny. Pierwszy rozdział stanowi podbudowę teoretyczną do dalszych rozważań, omówiono w nim m.in. istotę, znaczenie i strategie w handlu. Drugi rozdział zawiera analizę rozwoju handlu w Polsce na przestrzeni ostatnich 20 lat. Trzeci rozdział charakteryzuje miasto i mieszkańców Limanowej, ponad to przedstawia analizę rozwoju handlu w tym mieście, oraz porównanie jego poziomu z innymi miastami. Czwarty rozdział przedstawia analizę i wnioski z badania bezpośredniego. Na podstawie zebranych informacji można stwierdzić, że mieszkańcy zdają sobie sprawę z korzyści jakie wynikają z dobrze rozwiniętego handlu. Ankietowani również dostrzegli szansę jaką jest poziom oferty turystycznej dla rozwoju handlu. Mieszkańcy podzielili się pomysłami na usprawnienie rozwoju handlu. Z badań wynika również, że największym problemem jest brak miejsc parkingowych na terenie miasta i poziom bezrobocia
The subject of discussion in this thesis is the problem of the development of trade. This topic was presented on the example of Limanowa. The aim of the study was to identify the residents’ opinions and attitudes to the development of trade in this town. The survey was conducted among adult residents of Limanowa. The technique used for the study was an online survey and it was of theoretical – empirical character.The first chapter, in which the nature, import_ance and strategies in trade were discussed, provides a theoretical basis for further considerations. The second chapter presents an analysis of the development of trade in Poland in the last 20 years. The third chapter characterizes the town and the residents of Limanowa, furthermore it presents an analysis of the development of trade, and compares it to other similar towns. The fourth chapter presents the analysis and conclusions of the direct study.Based on the gathered information, it can be concluded that the residents are aware of the benefits that result from a well-developed trade. Respondents also noted that the high level of tourism affects the development of trade. The study also pointed out that the biggest problem is the lack of parking spaces in the town and the level of unemployment
