Abstract

Prezentowana praca identyfikuje systemu ubezpieczeń społecznych w Polsce. Szczegółowo omawia mechanizmy funkcjonowania ubezpieczeń oraz przedstawia zmiany i wizerunek Zakładu Ubezpieczeń Społecznych na przestrzeni ostatnich lat. W rozdziale pierwszym przedstawiono zagadnienia związane z istotą ubezpieczenia społecznego, omówiono jego definicję, genezę oraz rozwój na świecie. Rozdział drugi przybliża organizację Zakładu Ubezpieczeń Społecznych w Polsce jako instytucji realizującej zadania ustawowe z zakresu ubezpieczeń społecznych. W trzecim rozdziale przedstawiono jak wielkie zmiany wprowadziła i znaczenie miała reforma ubezpieczeń społecznych przeprowadzona w 1999 roku. W rozdziale czwartym ukazano poprawę efektywności działania Zakładu Ubezpieczeń Społecznych oraz pozytywnie zmieniającego się wizerunku Zakładu w związku z wdrożeniem przez Zakład Strategii przekształceń…oraz Strategii rozwoju… Zakładu Ubezpieczeń Społecznych w Polsce.

The presented work identifies the social insurance system in Poland. The thesis discusses the mechanisms of functioning insurance and presents the changes and the image of the Social Insurance Institution in the last few years. The first chapter presents issues related to the essence of social insurance, its definition, origins and development in the world. The second chapter introduces the organization of the Social Insurance in Poland as an institution implementing the statutory tasks of social insurance. The third chapter presents the changes that have been introduced and the importance of the social security reform in 1999. The fourth section shows the improvement of the efficiency of the Social Insurance Institution and its positive change in relation to the implementation of the strategy of transformation and the strategy of development of Social Insurance in Poland.
