Ocena i zarządzanie płynnością finansową w przedsiębiorstwie transportowym

Abstract

Praca poświęcona jest ogólnej analizie finansowej przedsiębiorstwa transportowego ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem badania płynności i jej kontrolowania. Zagadnienia te są niezwykle istotne dla każdego przedsiębiorstwa. Zachowanie płynności jest niezbędnym warunkiem istnienia firmy, ważniejszym nawet niż osiąganie zysków. Firma może działać nawet jeśli ponosi straty. Utrata płynności może doprowadzić do bankructwa. Znajomość kondycji finansowej umożliwia efektywne zarządzanie poprzez prowadzenie odpowiedniej polityki w danym okresie. W pracy omówiono pojęcie i rolę płynności finansowej, czynniki ją kształtujące oraz powiązania z rentownością. Przeanalizowano także ich wpływ na wartość przedsiębiorstwa. Omówiono problematykę wstępnego czytania głównych sprawozdań finansowych, tj. bilansu, rachunku zysków i strat oraz rachunku przepływów pieniężnych. Opisano także wskaźnikową analizę kondycji finansowej przedsiębiorstwa, w szczególności wskaźniki płynności finansowej, wydajności i wystarczalności gotówkowej oraz cykli: zapasów, należności, zobowiązań, konwersji gotówki. Następnie przeprowadzono analizę kondycji finansowej w firmie transportowej w latach 2010-2012, opierając się na omówionych w pracy analizach. Analiza wykazała, że badana firma pomimo ogólnoświatowego kryzysu jest w dobrej kondycji finansowej, co osiągnięto dzięki elastyczności w zarządzaniu. Firma oparła się niekorzystnym zjawiskom gospodarczym przy widocznych wzrostowych tendencjach.

The work is devoted to a general financial analysis of the transport enterprise, with particular emphasis on the study of liquidity and its control. The issues mentioned above are extremely important for each business. The liquidity is a necessary condition for the existence of the company, even more important than company’s profit. The enterprise can operate even if the company looses money. Loss of the liquidity can lead to the bankruptcy. Knowledge of the financial condition enables effective management through the appropriate policy in the period. The paper discusses the concept and the role of the financial liquidity, its shaping factors and the relationship with probability. The impact of these factors on the value of the company was analyzed. What is more, main issues of the introductory analysis of the principal financial statements, i.e. the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement, were also discussed. This work also describes a ratio analysis of the financial condition of the company, in particular: liquidity ratios, efficiency and sufficiency of the cash ratios and cycles of inventory, receivables, payables and cash conversion. Then an analysis of the financial condition of the transport company in the period 2010-2012 was conducted, based on the theoretical background of the analysis discussed in the thesis. The analysis showed, that the chosen company, despite the global crisis, is in a good financial condition, which was achieved thanks to the management flexibility. The enterprise resisted the adverse economic phenomena, showing at the same time visible growth trends.
