Zakapiory bieszczadzkie

Abstract

Tematem pracy jest odrębna grupa ludzi zamieszkałych w Bieszczadach. Nazywani są oni tam zakapiorami-bieszczadnikami dlatego, że zbuntowali się przeciw obowiązującym regułom społecznym i porzucili życie miejskie, by w Bieszczadach żyć po swojemu. Jako lubiący samotność indywidualiści wybrali „wolność od”. Celem pracy jest obserwacja i analiza losów i życia tych ludzi, oraz konsekwencji kulturowych ich obecności – w tym również wygenerowania swoistej subkultury miejscowej. Ważnym problemem jest także ogół czynników, jakie wpłynęły na ich decyzje. Praca nie ocenia zakapiorów, ani pozytywnie, ani negatywnie. Natomiast przedstawia ich miejsce w życiu społecznym regionu, a także swego rodzaju mitologię, której stali się bohaterami.

The theme of the work is a distinct group of people living in the Bieszczady Mountains. They are called there the “zakapiors-bieszczadniks” [brawlers from Bieszczady] because of their defiant character of life of those who rebelled against the reigning social customs and who abandoned city life to live in Bieszczady Mountains on their own way. As individualists and convinced loners, they chose "freedom from". The aim of the study is to observe and to analyze the fate and lives of these people, and cultural consequences of their presence - which also generated specific local subculture. An important problem is the general factors that influenced their decisions. Work does not evaluate zakapiors, neither positively nor negatively. In contrast, shows their place in the social life of the region, as well as a kind of mythology, which they became heroes.
