Rozwój turystyki letniej i zimowej w Piwnicznej-Zdroju w latach 2010-2012 szansą rozwoju miasta i gminy

Abstract

Niniejsza praca opisuje rozwój turystyki letniej i zimowej w Piwnicznej-Zdrój jako szansę rozwoju miasta i gminy. Przedstawia również walory turystyczne regionu, które w znaczący sposób wpływają na rozwój turystyki. W pracy omówiono pojęcie turystyki oraz dokonano jej podziału ze względu na rodzaj i formę. Opisano również formy turystyki. Zaprezentowano walory przyrodnicze i antropogeniczne Piwnicznej. Omówiono działania innych podmiotów i władz samorządowych na rzecz rozwoju turystyki w mieście i gminie. Przedstawiono korzyści wynikające z korzystania z programów rozwojowych UE oraz rozwinięto temat turystyki Transgranicznej Polsko-Słowackiej. Ważnym etapem pracy jest przedstawienie perspektyw rozwoju turystyki letniej i zimowej oraz szans rozwoju turystyki letniej w ramach współpracy Transgranicznej. Głównym celem pracy jest wskazanie czynników i warunków, które mają i mogą mieć wpływ na dalszy rozwój turystyki z sezonie letnim i zimowym w Piwnicznej-Zdrój oraz udowodnienie stwierdzenia, iż rozwój turystyki w tych dwóch sezonach w istotny sposób wpływa na rozwój miasta i gminy. Po omówieniu tematu dokonano podsumowania, z którego wynika, że gmina mimo dobrych warunków do rozwoju turystyki, ma pewne problemy(m.in. brak skutecznej promocji gminy, niewystarczający budżet dla rozwoju inwestycji) powodujące obniżenie jej atrakcyjności. Szansą rozwoju jest więc przede wszystkim staranie się o dofinansowanie na inwestycje ze środków unijnych oraz rozwój współpracy Transgranicznej.

The present dissertation demonstrates the development of summer and winter tourism in Piwniczna-Zdroj and its influence on the growth of the city of Piwniczna-Zdroj and Piwniczna-Zdroj municipality. The work presents the main tourist attractions of the region. Apart from that, the concept of tourism is discussed and divided with regards to its type and form. The forms of tourism are also presented in the dissertation. Furthermore, natural as well as anthropogenic features of Piwniczna-Zdroj are demonstrated. The district authorities’ efforts to support the development of the Piwniczna-Zdroj region are also analyzed. Additionally, the usefulness of European Union development funds is emphasized. The work discusses the subject of Polish-Slovak trans-boundary tourism. An important aim of the work is to show the prospect of the development of summer and winter tourism. The key purpose of the present dissertation is to demonstrate the main factors and conditions which have or may have an influence on the further development of summer and winter tourism in Piwniczna-Zdroj. Another goal of the paper is to confirm the statement that the development of tourism has a considerable impact on the development of the city of Piwniczna-Zdroj and Piwniczna-Zdroj municipality. The dissertation comprises conlusions founded on thoughtful analysis of the material mentioned. According to the conclusions made in the present work, despite its convenient localization, Piwniczna-Zdroj is enduring some difficulties (e.g. the lack of effective publicity or insufficient investment budget) which may discourage potential visitors. Therefore, the trans-boundary cooperation as well as the European Union investment funds should be used in order to catalyze the development.
