    This paper presents the importance of time management, focusing on individuals. In subsequent parts of the paper, some of the most common obstacles of time management and ways of overcoming them are characterized. In the final part of the paper the emphasis is put on procrastination. Summing up, some of the author’s reflections are presented in this paper.

    Nowadays management processes require new brilliant concepts to cope with the turbulent and unpredictable environment. The Knowledge Management (KM) and within its frameworks social approach of the Communities of Practice (CoPs) seem to be good solutions to this challenge. The aim of this article is to discuss the application of CoPs to the Knowledge Management within organizations.
