The article consists of three sections. The first part presents the role and challenges facing banks in times of crisis. In the second part special attention has been paid to the main assumptions of the changes proposed by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. The third chapter focuses on analyzing the predicted influence of Basel III on economy and banks operating in Poland and all over the world.enUznanie autorstwa-Użycie niekomercyjne-Bez utworów zależnych 3.0 PolskaThe premises and evaluation of new regulations aiming at limiting risk in the banking sectorbookPart
