Dokonano analizy transportu pod względem bezpieczeństwa, a także porównania pomiędzy transportem drogowym a kolejowym materiałów niebezpiecznych. Materiały niebezpieczne to takie artykuły lub substancje, których właściwości spowodować mogą zagrożenie dla zdrowia, bezpieczeństwa, środowiska naturalnego bądź mienia. Są to materiały i przedmioty, których przewóz jest albo zabroniony, lub dopuszczony jedynie na warunkach określonych w odpowiednich przepisach prawnych. Z rozważań zawartych w pracy wynika, iż wypadki pojazdów, które przewożą materiały niebezpieczne, stanowią bardzo duże zagrożenie nie tylko dla osób zatrudnianych przy transporcie, ale również dla całego otoczenia. Wybór rodzaju środka transportu dla określonych rodzajów ładunków jest bardzo ważnym aspektem. Największe zagrożenia poważnymi wypadkami w transporcie towarów niebezpiecznych związanych jest z transportem drogowym. Transport kolejowy charakteryzuje relatywnie niższa liczba poważnych wypadków. Mimo to, w polskich przedsiębiorstwach transport samochodowy przeważa nad transportem kolejowym. W całym procesie przewozu ładunków niebezpiecznych powinno dążyć się do minimalizowania zagrożeń i zmierzać do zapewnienia jak największego poziomu bezpieczeństwa.In this bachelor discusses in detail the issues of transport regulations for hazardous materials. Analyzed a transport in terms of safety, and compared to road and rail transport of hazardous materials. Hazardous materials are those articles or substances whose properties may cause a threat to the health, safety or the environment. These are the materials and items the carriage of which is either prohibited or allowed only under the conditions specified in the relevant legislation. From the considerations in bachelor shows that accidents of vehicles that transport hazardous materials pose a very serious threat not only to the persons engaged in the transport, but also for the whole environment. Select the type of transport for certain types of cargo is a very important aspect. The greatest risk of severe accidents in the transport of dangerous goods are associated with road transport. Rail transport is characterized by a relatively lower number of serious accidents. Despite this, in Polish enterprises road transport outweighs the rail.
