Firstly, the concept of learning from experience has been discussed from the perspective of military organisations. Then, applying the NATO model, the elements of Lessons Learned capabilities have been enumerated and studied. The case study combines observations, lessons and best practices identified in NATO, the U.S. Army and the Polish Armed Forces.
