Rozprawa poświęcona jest zagadnieniu klasycznej i nowoczesnej teorii portfela. Praca zawiera przedstawienie teoretycznych podstaw budowy i zarządzania portfelem inwestycyjnym oraz prezentację skonstruowanego przez autora portfela inwestycyjnego. Portfel został zbudowany w odniesieniu do wniosków z analizy rynku. |

Master thesis is devoted to the problem of classic and modern portfolio theory. The diploma dissertation consists of presentation of the theoretical bases for the construction and management of the investment portfolio and a presentation of investment portfolio created by the author. The portfolio structure refers to the conclusions from the analysis of the market. The selected indicators such as: Sharpe, Treynor, Jensen, Modigiliani and Sortiono ratio, Upside ratio were used to evaluate the efficienty of portfolio and each of its components. The analysis was based on the data for the period 2009-2012. The benchmark's portfolio includes benchmarks for all component. The structure of it refers to the share of securities in portfolio. The portfolio consists of stocks of 3 companies building WIG20 index and units outstanding of 3 mutual funds (bond fund, money market fund, commodities fund). The portfolio is diversified when it comes to the number of its components and their specification. The portfolio was passively managed - no changes in portfolio structure within investment period. The portfolio return volatility was mostly determined by changes in return of investment in GTC stocks. The units outstanding were steady elements of portfolio due to relative small absolute scale of changes in return. There are good perspectives for the nearest future because of high values of upside ratio for portfolio elements. |
