Abstract

W pracy zostały przedstawione zagadnienia związane z istotą I funkcjami jakie spełnia jednostka kontenerowa w handlu międzynarodowym. Dla bliższego przedstawienia tematu przedstawiono klasyfikację, podział kontenerów a także przykłady ich zastosowania w procesie logistyki. Kolejne rozdziały prezentują aspekty techniczno-prawne w transporcie kontenerowym, organizację międzynarodowego transportu kontenerowego a także analizę pracy portu Gdańskiego jako ogniwa transportu kontenerowego. Przedstawione zagadnienia pokazują jak istotną rolę pełni kontener w całym procesie transportu

The subject of this thesis is to investigate the issues related to the essence and features of Container unit in International Trade. Therefore the thesis provides classification, division of containers as well as examples of their use in the process of logistics. The next chapters discusses main technical and legal aspects in Container Transport, organization of International Container Transport as well as an analysis of the port of Gdansk as container transport links. The topic illustrate how significant is the role of Container in the entire process of transportation.
