Poziom i struktura depresji a cechy osobowości w procesie terapeutycznym

Abstract

Niniejsza praca ma charakter teoretyczno-empiryczny. Skupia się ona na poszukiwaniu powiązań pomiędzy depresją a strukturą osobowości wśród osób rozpoczynających terapię i po 3 miesiącach procesu terapeutycznego. W realizowanym projekcie badawczym wykorzystane zostały następujące narzędzia psychologiczne: Inwentarz Osobowości NEO-PI-R, autorami którego są P. T. Costa Jr, R. R. McCrae, Test CES-D autorstwa L. Radloffa w opracowaniu E. Dojka, M. Górkiewicz, A. Pająk a także Arkusz personalny własnej konstrukcji. Uzyskane w badaniach własnych wyniki stanowią podstawę do wyciągnięcia następujących wniosków: występują zmiany w obszarze stabilności emocjonalnej, wzmocnienia kontroli impulsów i poczucia własnej wartości w wyniku podjęcia terapii. Obniżenie poziomu neurotyczności wskazuje na zwiększenie poczucia bezpieczeństwa i zrównoważenie emocjonalne w sytuacjach stresowych. Osoby takie są bardziej spokojne i lepiej sobie radzą w życiu.

The thesis is theoretical and empirical in nature. It aims to find links between depression and personality structure of people beginning therapy and after 3 months of the therapeutic process. The following psychological tools were implemented in the research project: NEO-PI-R Personality Inventory by P. T. Costa Jr., R. R. McCrae, CES-D Test by L. Radloff in the study of E. Dojka, M. Górkiewicz, A. Pajak, and a personal questionnaire of own construction. The results obtained in the study are the basis for the following conclusions: there are alterations in the area of emotional stability, strengthening of impulse control and self-esteem. Lowering the level of neuroticism indicates an increased sense of security and emotional balance in stressful circumstances. Such individuals are more peaceful and perform better in life.
