Stres, satysfakcja z życia i lęk przed COVID-19 u nauczycieli pracujących zdalnie

Abstract

Niniejsza praca dyplomowa stanowi studium teoretyczno-empiryczne odnoszące się do problematyki radzenia sobie ze stresem wśród nauczycieli, w kontekście ich lęku przed COVID-19 oraz satysfakcji z życia wobec konieczności podjęcia pracy w systemie zdalnym. Zaprezentowano zagadnienia teoretyczne dotyczące problematyki lęku, stresu i satysfakcji z życia. Przyjęty w pracy program badawczy został zrealizowany w oparciu o następujące metody: Kwestionariusz radzenia sobie ze stresem (CISS) N.S. Endlera i J.D.A. Parkera; Kwestionariusz poczucia stresu (KPS) M. Plopy i R. Makarowskiego; Skalę lęku przed COVID-19 (FCV-19S) D.K. Ahorsu, C.Y. Lin, V. Imani, M. Saffari, M.D. Griffiths, A.H. Pakpour; Skalę satysfakcji z życia (SWLS) Z. Juczyńskiego oraz Arkusz personalny własnego autorstwa. W badaniu udział wzięło 109 osób dorosłych wykonujących swoją pracę w systemie zdalnym, z czego 56 osób stanowią nauczyciele uczący w szkołach podstawowych, natomiast pozostała część to trenerzy/szkoleniowcy stanowiący grupę kontrolną. Wyniki badań pozwalają na wyciągnięcie następujących wniosków: występują zależności między rodzajem i stylami doświadczanego stresu a poziomem lęku przed COVID-19 i satysfakcją z życia u nauczycieli pracujących zdalnie. Ustalono ponadto istnienie różnic istotnych statystycznie pomiędzy badanymi grupami w zakresie odczuwanego stresu, stylów radzenia sobie oraz satysfakcji z życia. Uzyskane wyniki porównano z aktualną literaturą oraz wskazano możliwe dalsze obszary badań w tym zakresie.

This thesis is a theoretical and empirical study relating to the issues of coping with stress among teachers, in the context of their fear of COVID-19 and life satisfaction in the face of the need to work remotely. Theoretical issues concerning the issues of anxiety, stress and life satisfaction are presented. The research program adopted at work was implemented on the basis of the following methods: Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations (CISS) Questionnaire by N.S. Endler and J.D.A. Parker; The Perceived Stress Questionnaire (KPS) by M. Plopa and R. Makarowski; The Fear of COVID-19 Scale (FCV-19S) by D.K. Ahorsu, C.Y. Lin, V. Imani, M. Saffari, M.D. Griffiths, A.H. Pakpour; The Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) by Z. Juczyński and personal questionnaire sheet. The study involved 109 adults working remotely, 56 of whom are teachers teaching in primary schools, while the remainder coaches / trainers constituting are the control group. The results obtained on the basis of this research allow us to draw the following conclusions: there are relationships between the type and styles of experienced stress and the level of fear of COVID-19 and life satisfaction in teachers working remotely. Moreover, the existence of statistically significant differences between the studied groups in terms of perceived stress, coping styles and life satisfaction were found. The obtained results were compared with the current literature and possible further areas of research in this area were indicated.
